This day dress was made from an original 1953 outfit pattern and the rose design is very classic of the early 1950’s. It is made of a thick very good quality slightly stretchy material (cotton blend), with prominent capped sleeves and a symmetrical gathered in waist that is structured by smart paneling underneath a small sweet heart styled curved neckline. At the back there is a small and discreet cleverly concealed metal zip. And in a a full range of sizes (8-24), nothing will be impossible! There are three varieties to choose from which are the generic Pink roses pattern, pink roses (red trim on white) and pink roses (red trim on black).
Love me tender, recommended Hand wash*, iron me on a very low heat. Also don’t forget to wash me with similar colours. *In personal experience Miss Molly has washed it countless times with no fading to the cotton fibers.

A busy white with pink roses dress. No one’s fully perfect, with so much to do from cooking scones to cutting roses. The fitted and flirty Pruning Penelope can save from the most minor of faults. So relax, sit back; be a little lazy for once!
Doghouse Suggests: A big straw summer hat or some pink hair ribbons.
